You don’t need to try all that hard. Just come watch Family Guy with me. Just sit on the couch with me and show me that you have a sense of humor like I do. I find it endearing when you can laugh at the retarded jokes that I laugh at.
Near this pond on a capricious windy reflection of a day I’ll sit here and do absolutely nothing. I lay my bike on the scattered rock debris and sat near a small pond, probably formed by leftover rain.
It’s been more than 5 months already. Has it been really 5 months? Time has been going by so fast and it’s almost summer. Your house is in the next block. I could just walk there and knock on your door but that act of spontaneity is unheard of. Just stood outside of it. For one quite minute, then I was gone.
Inside the small pond, small critter life scurry around inside the tiny estuary. An estuary that leads to nowhere. I could see a sign of a tadpole but the rest lay abundant in tiny microscopic plankton people. I’d sit by it and throw rocks inside. I start to stifle inside the pond with a twig like a child stroking the canvas of the sand in a beach.
At first, I started to poke inside the water stirring slowly. My lifeless circular strokes started to get faster and faster. Soon the whole twig was forming a gigantic miniature. My conscious not even aware of the act. A swirling hell inside. I am power. I am death. I am force. I am everything. I am nothing. I am useless.
As all the plankton people scattered everywhere in different directions they were perhaps gone, confused, mind-fucked if you would. The creativity and complexity of life. The alive and well. A generation unknown, I confused them all. Even though all was scattered and sporadic, the pond soon stood still. Soon the pond was quiet, the only thing moving was the breathing whispers of the wind. The only audible noises I could hear were the sounds of children cavorting in their front yards and a kid reciting Bach on the piano. Life stood still. The pond soon regained its former stability of life. Even though life came and fucked things up it continued back with life. The stifling nature of nature itself couldn’t stop it from moving forward. How envious I was when I learned this.
